Tap and die holder set designed to fit into a lathe tailstock with a 2 Morse taper quill. This kit allows for accurate tapping andrethreading, using the power of the lathe to turn the work piece while the tap or die is held centered and securely in the tailstock.
The kit includes a 2MT arbor with straight shaft for the universal sleeve, three round die holders, two tap holders, a leverage bar to prevent the holder spinning, and three Allen wrenches.
The round die holders are sizes 13/16″, 1″, 1 1/2″.
The die holders and tap holding chucks each have a 5/8″ Weldon shank. The holders are held securely with a 4mm Allen screw (wrench not included).
The set comes in a wooden fitted case.
