Kent-Moore J-41479-2B GM Seal Installer Pilot
Supercharged 6.2L V8s will have a 9-bolt rear crankshaft flange due to their performance output. Current rear crankshaft seal pilot J-41479-2A will not fit 9-bolt crankshafts. J-41479-2B will replace the existing J-41479-2A, allowing the balance of J-41479-A components to be used to install the seal. J-41479-2B will back-service to 1997, and will update the complete rear seal installer to J-41479-B. Unapproved installation methods may damage or incorrectly install the seal, resulting in leaks.
