General Motors GM-47707 Internal Mode Switch Alignment Tool

Applications: 2006 Buick Lucerne, Cadillac Deville, Pontiac Boneville GXP
This tools is used to correctly position and align the Internal Mode Switch when it is replaced or related service is performed on the transaxle. Alignment is critical to proper shift operation. This new version is required due to changes in the IMS Switch which added an additional track contact due to the separation of engine control and transmission control into 2 modules for 2006.
This new 6 track IMS Switch will supersede all prior 4T80E 5 track switches.
