Three piece boring bar set with shank sizes of 3/8″, 1/2″, and 5/8″. Each boring bar has a carbide insert.
This set allows for both boring and facing the bottom of holes. It is suitable for cutting steel, cast iron and stainless steel.
The insert screw is hardened to ensure a solid fit of the carbide insert.
The 3/8″ diameter bar is 6″ long, designation S06M-SCLCR2
The 1/2″ diameter bar is 7″ long, designation S08Q-SCLCR2
The 5/8″ diameter bar is 8″ long, designation S10R-SCLCR3
All three boring bars are designated as having an approach angle of 95 degrees (offset shank with a negative 5 degree cutting angle) and utilizing an insert with a 7 degree relief angle. All three bars are Right Hand.
Set is packed in an aluminum case.
